Escaregoruge

a great surprise was waiting when i arrived to work this morning! the next colorway of the super7 zombie escaregot (whose head was designed by yours truly to fit on the zombie body designed by brian flynn) just showed up in the mail!

this version refers to the colors of one of the coolest (and most outrageously impossible to get in a zillion years) monster toys evar made, the bandai frankenruge. frankenruge was a weird villain from the 1970's japanese television show, barom-1. escaregot is a villain from super7's snakes of infinity, and will be released 5/9/09 at super7store.com.

here are some images of the freaky old toy i mentioned above, the incomparable frankenruge, made by bandai in the freaky 70's. i would trade anything i own for one of these (except my bicycle, and okay, probably not my computer either)!!
