Stellar Geography
Here I am, enjoying one of my favorite activities. There's something really relaxing about sitting on top of a giant mushroom and watching the night sky. Just like finding shapes in the clouds, or seeing faces in bushy trees or rocky mountainsides, the constellations you can see are only limited by imagination. Plus, they're sparkley!

Hey there, Josh.
I really like this piece you did. There is something serene about it and the water color blobs are awesome! How long do your pieces usually take? Keep up the good work! I'd like to see more of your work!
This is an anonymouse! I really enjoy your artwork... This latest one is beautiful <3

thanks for the kind words, anonymous mice! all told, this piece took probably 10 - 12 hours of solid work from concept to finish.
I really love the colors, there is some fantastic watercolor work in there. Did you use some sort of liquid mask to create the constellations? I also really enjoy that you painted the color for the head outside of the lines, it feels like your mind is expanding to greet the cosmos, and the shape and spontinaeity you gave to that space create the feeling that your mind and the universe are one in the same. Keep it up j to the oshua!
Great blog youu have here
